Egypt Reopens Airport and Tourist Attractions

Egypt has reopened its tourist attractions following three month Covid-19 lockdown

Egypt has now reopened its airports, the Egyptian museum, the iconic Giza Pyramids in Cairo, the ancient temple of Karnak and the famous Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut in the southern city of Luxor for the first time in more than three months.

Mostafa Waziri, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, said around two dozen museums and tourist sites received visitors. New health and safety measures have been put in place at all the reopened sites.
