EasyJety have clawed back vital funding through the sale and leaseback of nine Airbus aircraft to two separate parties. With the completion of the two transactions, easyJet will hold on to 152 fully-owned aircraft.
A spokesperson for the airline told the London Stock Exchange this morning, that it is continuing to review its liquidity on a regularly and will continue to assess further funding options, including those that exist in the robust sale and leaseback market’.
