The grand opening was held on Friday November 3rd and Chairperson of Newry Mourne and Down District Council Roisin Mulgrew cut the ribbon and marked a new era in the history of Downe Travel.
Director, Paul Gallagher said: “It has been a whirlwind few months for us. Winning Northern Ireland Travel Agent of the Year for the first time in 27 years was just fantastic and then to relocate to our new premises a week later was very exciting for all of the staff.
“We are looking forward to welcoming our existing and new clients into the store which I’m sure everybody will appreciate. It definitely does have the “wow” factor and with spectacular imagery and our giant lifelike beach, there is no better environment to start planning your next holiday.”
