Visitors are invited to explore 'Woodland Lights' at Mount Congreve Gardens in Waterford

This festive season visitors are invited to explore ‘Woodland Lights’ at Mount Congreve Gardens in Waterford as the walled gardens are set to come to life with festive lighting displays.

Visitors can enter the four-acre walled gardens under a canopy of twinkling lights as they begin their festive voyage through the glistening lights leading into the wonder of the lit-up walled garden and Victorian glasshouses.

Visitors can take as much time as they wish to enjoy the lights in the twinkling walled gardens and from there they can also enjoy the flora and fauna of the rest of the gardens which comprises of some 70 acres.

The Café at Mount Congreve Gardens will also be open late for visitors to enjoy delicious hot chocolate or spiced drinks after their woodland walk. Mount Congreve Gardens also offers direct access to and from the Waterford Greenway.

Woodland Lights at Mount Congreve will open on Thursday, December 5th 2019 until January 5th 2020 every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 pm daily with the exception of Thursday & Friday, December 26th & 27th.
