Cyprus Extends Ban on UK Holidaymakers

Cyprus has become the latest country to exclude UK holidaymakers from a list of visitors allowed to return to the island

Cyprus has become the latest country to exclude UK holidaymakers from the first wave of tourists allowed to return to the holiday island.

From June 9, it will allow tourists from a limited number of countries, but not the UK.

Passengers who have been in the UK in the last 14 days will not be allowed to enter Cyprus, even via a third country, until further notice.

The UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office said: “We expect this to be reviewed in the coming weeks.”
