Cunard's Queen Mary 2 Ship disembarked from Southampton on 13 December to undertake a 28-night sailing before arriving back in the UK in mid-January

Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 Ship disembarked from Southampton on 13 December to undertake a 28-night sailing before arriving back in the UK in mid-January.

Due to a “precautionary measure” the ship will remain in Barbados until 2 January, meaning a planned port call in New York will not be happening.

“As a precautionary measure, Queen Mary 2 will take on additional manning in essential roles in Barbados prior to the sail back to the UK.” A spokesperson for the ship said.

They continued:

“Given the current international travel situation ,the ship will remain in Barbados until January 2”

Cunard have said that guests planning to leave the ship in New York will have flights arranged for them out of Barbados.
