CroisiEurope has released details of its 2024 programme which features over 170 river, canal and ocean itineraries on more than 50 ships

CroisiEurope has released details of its 2024 programme which features over 170 river, canal and ocean itineraries on more than 50 ships, sailing on 39 waterways in 37 countries. On sale now, the comprehensive programme of itineraries covers river cruises, ocean and coastal cruises, the canals of France, themed cruises, long-haul and exotic destinations as well as Christmas and New Year sailings. New for 2024 are:

Ocean Cruises:

  • A seven-night Greek Islands cruise through the Cyclades and Dodecanese to the heart of Greek civilisation. The cruise from Athens to Larnaca is onboard La Belle de l’Adriatique and calls in Syros, Rhodes, Santorini, Milos and Amorgos.
  • A seven-night cruise along the Italian coast with visits to some of the country’s most beautiful cities and islands. The cruise is round trip from Nice onboard La Belle des Oceans and calls in Livorno, Portoferraio, Alghero, Porto Cervo, Porto Santo Stefano and La Spezia.

River Cruises:

  • A five-night ‘Timeless Venice’ cruise through the heart of the Venetian Lagoon. The cruise is round trip from Venice onboard MS Michelangelo and calls  in Mazzorbo and Chioggia. There are 12 departures in July and August 2024 with cruise prices from £902 per person.
  • A nine-night cruise along three rivers – the Rhine, Danube and Main – with an overnight in Vienna giving guests more time to explore. The cruise between Strasbourg and Vienna is onboard the MS Beethoven and calls in Mainz, Frankfurt, Miltenberg, Wertheim, Wurzurg, Schweinfurt, Bamberg, Nuremberg, Muhlhausen, Regensburg and Passau.

French Canals:

  • A six-night hotel barge cruise through the beautiful Oise Valley taking in numerous historic sites and providing an in-depth look into the country’s vibrant culture. The cruise between Pont-l’Évêque and Paris is onboard the 22-guest MS Raymonde and calls in Compiegne, Point-Sainte-Maxence, Saint-Leu-d’Esserent, Auvers-Sur-Oise, Pontoise and Bougival.

Excursions:

  • A visit to the Golubac Fortress in Serbia, one of the best-preserved medieval fortresses in Europe. Located at the entrance to the Iron Gate Gorge, where the Danube’s widest stream flows into a pass of the Carpathian Mountains, the fortress is split into three compounds with ten towers and, throughout history has been ruled by Serbs, Hungarians and Ottoman Turks.
  • A visit to the Château de Malmaison, a magnificent residence bought by Josephine for her husband Napoleon Bonaparte that is decorated in the antique style by famous 17th century architects.
  • Enjoy the works of pre- and post-impressionist artists at the Pissaro Museum in Pontoise.
  • Follow in the footsteps of Van Gogh at the Musée de l’Absinthe in Auvers-sur-Oise and learn about the café atmosphere influencing the artists at the time.
  • Discover one of the finest jewels in the crown of France’s cultural heritage on a visit to the Château de Chantilly which boasts some of the world’s great paintings by artists such as Botticelli, Raphael, Delacroix and Titian.
  • Pay your respects to those who sacrificed their lives over 100 years ago at the Armistice Memorial in Compiègne.
