Covid Chaos in Austria

110 British Tourists have been caught up in the latest covid-19 changes in Austria

110 British Tourists have been caught up in the latest covid-19 changes in Austria after the country imposed a requirement for all arrivals to hold negative PCR test taken with 48 hours of arrival.
When the flight landed in Innsbruck Airport, Austrian Authorities said the arrivals did not have the requirements for entry into the country and as a result seen dozens of travellers sent on an exiting flight home.

Around 40 tourists were placed into overnight accommodation where they were able to take a test and proceed with their holidays, however, it has been reported that this only included families with children.

The change came into effect on Christmas Day.
