The local tourism body Visit Cornwall is encouraging visitors to take lateral flow test before, during and after their visit to Cornwall, as the county experiences a surge in Covid cases.
CEO of Visit Cornwall, Malcom Bella is asking visitors to have pre-booked their trip before visiting the county and have taken a Covid test as Cornwall witnesses Covid cases double in two weeks.
5,000 cases of Covid have been linked to a recent festival hosted in Newquay within the county, adding to the extreme spike.
