Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) is reporting that bookings are still being made for later in 2020 and 2021 – proving that people are keen to take advantage of some fantastic offers for when the travel restrictions will hopefully be lifted later in the year.

Passengers are booking early to secure the cruise and cabin of their choice for 2021, when hopefully travel restrictions will have lifted and they can look forward to a wonderful cruising holiday.

CMV’s new flagship Amy Johnson is due to sail on her Maiden Voyage in April 2021. She will then position alongside Columbus sailing from London Tilbury. The new programme, which went on sale 20 February, is already some 27% sold.

Three cruises sailing on board Amy Johnson from London, Tilbury in 2021 are proving to be top sellers and are all well over 50% sold. The Grand British Isles Discovery departs 12 July 2021 for 10-nights and is currently from £849pp. The Grand Canada, Greenland, Iceland & Northern Lights itinerary sails 4 September 2021 for 35 nights with fares from £2579pp. The Grand Black Sea & Mediterranean cruise on board Amy Johnson departs 9 October 2021 for 32 nights, with fares from £2239pp and is shaping up to be a sell-out.

Lisa Jacobs, CMV Sales Director said: “Thanks to our trade partners, sales for our new flagship Amy Johnson have got off to an amazing start with some Amy Johnson cruises more than 50% sold. During a very difficult trading period, people are clearly looking forward to the future and planning their 2021 cruising holidays, and at the same time maximising on our Buy One Get One Free deals which extend, subject to availability, until 31st May 2020.”

The fares quoted are based on two people sharing a twin inner cabin and include delicious full board cuisine, afternoon teas and late-night snacks, Captain’s Cocktail Party, complimentary tea & coffee 6am to midnight, big show entertainment, cabarets and classical interludes, daytime activities and leisure facilities, guest speaker and arts & crafts, porterage of luggage, port to cabin and port taxes. For greater convenience CMV operate an automatic tipping system on board, so instead of worrying how much and when to tip, an amount of £6pp per night (£7 for less than 16 nights) will be debited to the passenger’s on-board account.
