Extinction Rebellion, the main organisation involved in the protests, are currently involved peaceful demonstrations in London and Manchester, with plans to spread to more major cities in October.
So far, the protest has passed off peacefully and without much disruption.
If you are travelling throughout the areas of protest, it is advisable that you allow extra time for your journey, just in case.
