China Update Covid-19 Entry Requirements

Covid-19 Entry Requirements have been changed for travellers heading to China

Covid-19 Entry Requirements have been changed for travellers heading to China.

Arrivals into China are now required to provide proof of a negative lateral or rapid antigen test taken 48 hours prior to their flight.

Prior to this, it was mandatory for all arrivals to provide proof of a negative PCR test result.

Passengers are required to document this negative result in a health declaration form available through the China Customs Website/China Customs App/ WeChat Social Media Account.

All travellers heading to China must be aware that while Airlines will not check test results, custom officers may check for test results upon arrival into China.  Those displaying symptoms of fever, or those who have not completed a Health Declaration form, may be required to complete a rapid antigen test upon arrival.
