China Reimposes Some Travel Restrictions

China has reimposed some travel restrictions amid a fresh coronavirus outbreak

China has reimposed some travel restrictions in the capital Beijing in an attempt to contain a new coronavirus outbreak.

Residential communities around the wholesale market where a small outbreak has been reported have been placed in lockdown, along with the area around a second market, where three cases were also confirmed.

Taxis and car-hailing services have been banned from taking people out of the city and the number of passengers on buses, trains and subways will also be limited. All are required to wear masks.

South Korea has also been battling to prevent a resurgence of the virus.

Hundreds of recent cases have been linked to nightspots, church gatherings, a huge e-commerce warehouse and door-to-door salespeople in Seoul.
