China Airlines has now made online check-in compulsory for all passengers to minimise in-person contact as much as possible.
The airline said customers can check in on the website or mobile app up to 48 hours ahead of departure and at least 80 minutes before.
It also said there will be minimal ground staff at the check-in area at airports but it is suspending all kiosk check-in services.
