The Castlerosse Park Resort, Killarney is pleased to announce the recent classification of its hotel to four stars by Fáilte Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority of Ireland.
This follows on a change of branding, earlier this year, to Castlerosse Park Resort to reflect the Hotel’s unique National Park and Lakeside location within two kilometres of Killarney town. The resort has made a number of improvements in product and service, and has been awarded the new classification with immediate effect.
In addition to its idyllic location, the resort also boasts a nine-hole golf course with stunning views of the lakes and mountains, a fully equipped leisure club with a 20-metre swimming pool, sauna and steam room, and Renew Beauty Spa, which offers holistic beauty treatments. The resort is also a perfect setting for wedding celebrations, with high quality food and personal service to ensure a truly memorable day for the happy couple and their guests.
To complement its environmentally sensitive location, Castlerosse Park Resort has also continued efforts to become eco-friendlier by undertaking more sustainable approaches such as reducing both energy and non-recyclable waste, in order to achieve a greener, cleaner Resort. Castlerosse also intends to develop these practices further in the coming year, as part of improving the overall customer experience.
The Castlerosse Park Resort filed accounts for 2018 showing trading profits of €499,000 plus a revaluation reserve of €2.4 million bringing the total to €2.9 million.

Despite the Resort’s reclassification to four stars, prices will remain the same.
