This event will take place in between the release of two much anticipated movies: Marvel Studios Captain Marvel and Marvel Studios Avengers: Endgame. Amongst the previously announced novelties this year, the incomparable Groot will be joining an already epic line-up of heroes.
For this special occasion, Disneyland Paris exclusively unveiled a new visual featuring many of Marvel Super Heroes that guests will be able to admire and interact with at the Walt Disney Studios Park until 16 June, 2019. Captain Marvel and Groot are joining legendary Marvel Super Heroes such as Doctor Strange, Scarlett Witch, Spider-Man, Loki, Thor, Black Widow, Black Panther, Captain America, Gamora, Nebula and Star-Lord.
STARK EXPO: MAKE WAY FOR A BETTER TOMORROW! FEATURING CAPTAIN MARVEL
Following her cinematic debut on 6 March, Captain Marvel will make her first appearance at Walt Disney Studios Park during Stark Expo: Make Way for a Better Tomorrow!
Tony Stark presents the latest version of his revolutionary invention – an ‘Arc Reactor’ that generates green energy – under the watch of Black Widow! Beware of the mischievous Loki, he might be around with another threat. Join Spider-Man and Thor in their mission to fight Loki, the fearsome trickster, and keep an eye out for the arrival of Captain Marvel to save the day. The action-packed excitement unfolds at the foot of the Hollywood Tower Hotel several times a day.
MARVEL: SUPER HEROES UNITED
Join the Super Heroes as they all gather during the spectacular Marvel: Super Heroes United to fight against Thanos. This 20-minute stage show with enhanced special effects brings together iconic figures from the Marvel Universe – including Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Spider-Man – with a focus on the themes of origins, duality and unity. At Studio Theater, guests can be at the heart of this thrilling mission and experience the story unfolding around them like never before.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: AWESOME DANCE-OFF
Help the Guardians in their groovy escape mission during Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance-Off! and move together to the rhythm of the best songs from the saga. And, for the first time this year, Groot will be part of the team! This show will take place several times a day in the Production Courtyard.
HEROIC ENCOUNTERS WITH CAPTAIN MARVEL, CAPTAIN AMERICA & SPIDER-MAN
New: For the very first time, guests will have the opportunity to meet Captain Marvel. Guests can also prepare for their next mission, learning from the best during an epic encounter with Captain America himself. Spider-Man will also be present at the Walt Disney Studios Park for an epic interaction!
EVEN MORE MARVEL AT DISNEYLAND PARIS
Continually providing our guests with more immersive experiences, Marvel Season of Super Heroes will offer fans of all ages the opportunity to transform into their favourite heroes thanks to new and exciting shopping options. A fantastic opportunity to discover the newest items pertaining to the Captain Marvel universe! Find them at Constellations (Disneyland Park), Les Légendes d’Hollywood (Walt Disney Studios Park) and the Disney Store (Disney Village).
The Marvel universe will also take over the Food and Beverage experience at Disneyland Paris with numerous options suited to all tastes and cravings. Groot-shaped shortbread cookies, a Baby Groot chocolate mousse, or a waffle adorned with Captain Marvel’s logo, but also our Super Heroes’ favourite vegan falafels or the “incredible gazpacho” in reference to the Incredible Hulk, will all be available. Be ready for an epic Marvel foodie experience.
This is just the start of a growing Marvel presence at the resort, as future transformation plans for Walt Disney Studios Park include three new areas that are based on Marvel, Frozen and Star Wars, along with new attractions and live entertainment. And Disney’s Hotel New York will soon be re-imagined as Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, the first Disney Hotel to showcase the thrilling world of Marvel Super Heroes.
