Will Canada be the latest country to drop remaining covid-19 travel requirements?
Although not officially announced, many Canadian media reports have suggested a change could be on its way very soon.
The reports suggest that by the end of September, Canada could lift all border requirements put in place during covid, alongside the removal of random covid-19 testing.
This would also mean that the ArriveCan app, currently needed to enter Canada, would become optional, along with mask wearing.
The government had previously said the regulations would only be in place until September 30th 2022- It is now expected that this will not be extended.
