Former Super Break Director, Chris Hagan, has launched a dual travel agency venture, Heathside Travel Experts and Buzz Off, under Brilliant Travel, the Managed Service Travel Partners (MSTP) and Homeworking division of Barrhead Travel.
Chris Hagan spent 16 years working in various departments, taking on the role of Director of Product for both Super Break and Late Rooms, before the firm went into administration in August this year.
Hagan’s first venture, Heathside Travel Experts, is a high street store five miles from ‘Derry. The agency has a team of three who specialise in all areas of travel including honeymoon, cruise, short breaks and multi-centre adventures.
Hagan has also opened a second implant agency, Buzz Off by Bumble and Bee, inside one of the region’s leading children’s clothing brands, Bumble and Bee in Ballymoney. Buzz Off by Bumble and Bee offers tailor-made family holidays and breaks to customers in store.
Hagan said: “Having started my career in a travel agency, I decided it was the right time to go back to my travel roots. I spoke to most consortia companies within the market and was most impressed by the friendliness, simplicity and commercial offer which Brilliant Travel proposed. The decision was quite straightforward.”
