Belfast International Airport has been rated ‘Very Good’ in the UK Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) Airport Accessibility Report for 2025/26.
Belfast International is placed as one of the UK’s top performing airports for quality of assistance as demand for accessibility support reaches its highest level.
The CAA found that Belfast International Airport provides high quality assistance services, the airport continues to invest in accessible facilities, staff training and service enhancements as part of its £100 million investment programme that aims to improve passenger experience.
The airport’s most recent development was the introduction of a dedicated accessible car park which provides a long term solution to the increasing demand for accessibility support and ensures guaranteed availability of spaces for passengers.
Una McKeown, Airport Operations Manager said, “We are extremely proud to once again be recognised by the Civil Aviation Authority as a ‘Very Good’ airport for accessibility. It reflects the commitment of our teams and our delivery partner OCS and reinforces our commitment to continually improving accessibility as we transform the passenger experience.”
