Belfast City Airport has advised passengers to plan their journeys as major maintenance works goes underway on the M3 Lagan Bridge.
The major maintenance works will take place over three weekends through August with temporary road closures and diversions to be expected.
Diversions and road closures are to affect routes to and from Belfast City Airport with sections of the M3 On and Off-Slip Roads to be closed.
traffic is to be diverted to alternative routes and passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys throughout this period.
The works will take place on:
- Friday 14 August – Monday 17 August 2026
- Friday 21 August – Monday 24 August 2026
- Friday 28 August – Monday 31 August 2026
