Belfast City Airport is facilitating a reduced flight schedule to London Heathrow in partnership with Aer Lingus to facilitate essential travel.
In a statement, the airport said: “The wellbeing of our staff and passengers is of paramount importance and in light of the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, we have introduced measures throughout the terminal to protect everyone on site.
“These include Perspex screens, hand sanitising units and markings to promote social distancing throughout the terminal.
“We are asking everyone to please respect your fellow passengers and our staff by adhering to these measures when travelling through Belfast City Airport. Passengers are also asked to wear a face covering through the terminal and onto their flight.
“At this time only passengers and staff are permitted inside the terminal, so unless assistance is required, please wait in the car park if you are picking up or dropping off someone from your household,” it added.
