Balearics Hardens Stance on Face Mask Usage

The Balearic Islands are now insisting that face masks are are worn "in all places where it is not possible to maintain a safe distance"

The Balearic Islands have hardened their stance on face coverings, stating that they now must be worn “in all places where it is not possible to maintain a safe distance”.

The government’s rule covers both indoor and outdoor spaces however, it will not be compulsory to wear a mask while eating and drinking, nor during sports or water activities.

The use of a mask for people older than six years old is mandatory in hotels and public areas such as lobbies, corridors and lifts.
