Azamara® Strengthens Travel Partnerships with New ‘Azamara Alliance’ Programme

Azamara Alliance launches with new tools and technologies to create a seamless experience for trade partners

Azamara has unveiled its new trade partner programme, Azamara Alliance, committed to supporting and strengthening its relationships with the line’s loyal travel partner community. Focusing on mutual success, shared commitment, and a true sense of teamwork, Azamara Alliance launches with new tools and technologies to create a seamless experience for trade partners with a new booking platform, more intuitive Azamara Connect trade partner portal, and expanded contact center.

“A priority in this new chapter at Azamara is to provide our valued travel partners with the best support and the most efficient experience possible,” says Patrice Willoughby, Chief Sales Officer, International of Azamara. “With the launch of our Azamara Alliance programme, it is our mission to support our travel partners and equip them with the tools, so we succeed together.”

Looking ahead, Azamara will continue to expand and enhance its relationships and offerings with travel partners as an independent cruise line. For the new tools, live training sessions will be hosted in January 2023 with self-paced learning tools to help travel partners familiarise themselves with the new booking platform and to get the most out of the new Azamara Connect. Under Azamara Alliance’s launch, the programme includes:

New Versonix Seaware Touch Booking Platform

  • Seamlessly accessible through Azamara Connect, the all-new booking engine with easily accessible features and functionality for travel partners to book across channels over one integrated platform with a 360° view of everything. Travel Partners can book FIT, plus back-to-back and combo voyages, including cruise, air, shore excursions, onboard packages, and more.

All-New Azamara Connect Travel Trade Portal

  • The entirely new and far more intuitive Azamara Connect will provide on-demand access to imagery, promotions, marketing templates, and all the tools travel partners may need to support sales efforts.

Expanded Contact Centre

  • To provide faster and more responsive service, Azamara’s Contact Center is doubling their number of agents and integrating new systems for faster answers and information, such as call-back services beginning later this month.

Furthering its commitment to supporting vital trade partners, as well as boosting growth in the UK market and globally, Azamara has also announced new investment in its UK-based sales team, including the appointment of Moira Gregson as Business Development Manager and Natalie Holder as International Marketing Manager. Moira and Natalie join Azamara’s recently enhanced UK team, led by Managing Director, David Duff, and will play an integral role in driving forward growth in the market.

In her new role as Business Development Manager, Moira Gregson will work closely with the Head of Trade Sales UK, Stuart Pearce to develop and grow Azamara’s presence and performance in the UK. Moira has worked in the travel industry for over twenty-five years, beginning her career as a resort representative and has gone on to gain almost twenty years of experience in B2B sales. With previous roles at Carnival UK, Cruiseco and more recently, Ambassador Cruise Line, she is a highly experienced sales and account manager, with a proven track record of sales delivery and relationship building.

Joining the team as International Marketing Manager, Natalie Holder will support Azamara’s global marketing team in Miami, as well as the in-market sales teams in the UK, EMEA, AUS and LACAR. Natalie has extensive experience in Communications, Trade Marketing, Branding, and Graphic Design, previously holding positions at The Travel Network Group, Hurtigruten, and Not Just Travel, where she was the Head of Trade Marketing.
