Australia to Drop Covid-19 Vaccine Requirement!

From Wednesday (6 July) all visitors entering Australia will not be required to show proof of vaccination

From Wednesday (6 July) all visitors entering Australia will not be required to show proof of vaccination.

Mark Bulter, Australia’s Minister of Health, made the announcement earlier today (4 July):

“The Chief Medical Officer has advised it is no longer necessary for travellers to declare their vaccine status,”
He continued,

“Unvaccinated Australians, as well as certain groups of visa holders, have been able to travel to Australia for some time.

“We will continue to act on the medical advice as needed.”

In addition, all travellers will no longer need to complete a passenger declaration form.

Masks are still required onboard all inbound flights and across some domestic flights.
