ANA plans to buy up to 20 additional Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft which is a welcome order for Boeing as it marks its first order of 2020.
The deal includes a confirmed order for 11 787-10 planes and one 787-9 with a possibility for five more which will make ANA Boeing’s largest Dreamliner customer, bringing their fleet up to more than 100 aircraft.
Yutaka Ito, ANA’s executive vice president commented: “Boeing’s 787s have served ANA with distinction, and we are proud to expand our fleet by adding more of these technologically advanced aircraft,”
The 787-10s will replace ANA’s Boeing 777 aircraft on domestic routes.
