All Thomas Cook Passengers are back in the UK

Thomas Cook passengers have now all arrived back in the UK successfully after a two week repatriation programme

Over 140,000 Thomas Cook passengers who were overseas at the point of the business collapse have now been successfully returned home. The last repatriation flight was due to arrive into Manchester airport this morning (7 October) from Orlando.

During the two week programme the CAA had called upon 150 aircraft from 50 partners throughout the world, operating a total of 746 flights scheduled to return passengers safely to 10 United Kingdom airports.

The CAA report that 94% of repatriated passengers returned home on the same day as their original flight was due to arrive home.

The largest refund process in the history of the ABTA scheme is now underway to process claims from entitled customers who are due to get their money back.
