Airports Bring Back 100ml Liquid Restrictions

Some regional airports have temporarily reinstating the 100ml restriction on carrying liquids in cabin baggage

Some regional airports have temporarily reinstating the 100ml restriction on carrying liquids in cabin baggage.

The rule change began on Sunday, and affects travellers at Newcastle, Leeds Bradford, London City, Aberdeen, Southend and Teesside airports.

The Department for Transport stated that the reintroduction of restrictions will allow for ‘further enhancements to the new checkpoint systems.’

Larger UK airports such as London Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester still have restrictions in place as they have not fully implemented the new CT scanners.
