Airbus has defied the current pandemic by delivering 49 new aircraft to customers last month, marking a 36% increase in handovers from June to July.
Deliveries were boosted by a system that delegates some essential customer checks to the manufacturer’s own engineers.
According to Airbus, the ‘e-delivery option’ “continues to facilitate our ability to deliver aircraft during an unprecedented time of travel restrictions and quarantines”.
