Airbnb has just recorded more than one million bookings globally last week, passing the one million milestone on July 8.
Most of the bookings are more affordable and closer to home as people lean towards staycations.
And the booking trend is showing that people still want semi-isolation on the trips with most bookings being made for rural locations.
