Air France-KLM recently announced the companies pathway to a sustainable future with the introduction of sustainable fuel carriers from France and the Netherlands.
With this new responsibility ,passengers of the airlines will be subject to a rise in ticket costs as sustainable fuel is more expensive that the current standard fuel. Current costing of fuel for the company equates to around 30% of costs, however ,with the introduction of sustainable fuel, this will increase significantly.
Customers will see a rise of around €1-4 within economy class, and passengers flying business will see a rise of around €12.
