Aer Lingus are set to cut three transatlantic routes from Dublin Airport later this year.
Citing a major cost-cutting plan, Aer Lingus is set to reduce its annual flight capacity by 6% .
The changes to Aer Lingus’ route network will begin to take effect from late September 2026.
Long-haul routes impacted include –
- Dublin to Denver will be discontinued after 28th September 2026.
- Dublin to Minneapolis will be discontinued after 24th October 2026.
- Dublin to Las Vegas will be discontinued after 3rd December 2026.
- Dublin to Seattle will move to summer-only operation after 24th October 2026.
Short haul routes impacted include –
- Dublin to Split will be discontinued after 29th September 2026.
- Dublin to Frankfurt will move to summer-only operation after 2nd November 2026.
- Dublin to Hamburg will move to summer-only operation after 2nd November 2026.
- Dublin to Malta which will move to summer-only operation after 3rd November 2026.
An online statement via the Aer Lingus website reads, “We are working hard to minimise disruption as much as possible for all customers affected. If your flight has been impacted, we will contact you directly in relation to reaccommodation or refund options.”
“If you booked through a travel agent, partner airline or tour operator, they will be in touch with you directly to discuss your options, including a refund if required.”
