100 Per cent Bonus Offer in British Airways Centenary Year

In its centenary year, British Airways is running a promotion giving its Executive Club Members the chance to collect 100 per cent more (double) Avios when they fly

To be eligible to collect double Avios on flights, customers must register and book by April 19, and then fly by December 31, 2019. The promotion is running on flights across all routes and cabins and can be collected on up to six flights, giving Members a great opportunity to build their Avios balances as the airline celebrates its 100th birthday. Also included in the promotion are flights booked using Avios part payment.
Furthermore, any Member who books and completes six qualifying flights in the above time periods also receive a further bonus 2,019 Avios, on top of the double Avios they accumulate on their flights.

Renata Rached, British Airways, Head of Global Customer Engagement, said: “It’s a special year for us, filled with big investment and exciting announcements. We want to celebrate our centenary with our Executive Club Members, and what better way to do this than offer them 100% more Avios when they fly.

“If you’re not already a Member it’s free and easy to join online.”

These Avios can be spent in the same way as normal Avios, including on reward flights, upgrades, hotels, experiences and for part payment, allowing customers to cut the cost of future flights. When using Avios part payment, customers can pick from a range of savings by destination and cabin. In doing so, Members can still collect Avios and Tier Points on their bookings.

2019 is British Airways’ Centenary year. To celebrate, the airline is hosting a range of activities and events including BA 2119 – a programme, which will lead the debate on the future of flying and explore the future of sustainable aviation fuels, the aviation careers of the future and the customer experience of the future. Alongside centenary celebrations, British Airways is investing £6.5 billion for customers over five years, including new aircraft, new cabins, new catering, new lounges, WiFi, and new routes.
