A new nationally representative study from HyperJar, the UK’s top-rated budgeting app, has uncovered that almost 1-in-10 (9%) Brits have lost a friend due to arguing about money on holiday. This comes as further data from HyperJar found that less than a third of Brits believe that expenses are always fairly split, whilst 19% believe that they spend between £20 and £75 more than everyone else on a group holiday. Interestingly, the data reveals that 18–24-year-olds had the most falling outs, with 1-in-6 admitting IOUs were at fault.
