With this in mind, SeatPick employed a points-based index system to rank the best value European cities for football fans to visit. To do so, the experts analysed: total goals, total market value and ticket price to uncover the best value cities.

Following closely are three other Italian cities, reinforcing Serie A’s strong presence. Torino ranks second with a score of 9.26/10, 510 goals, and a total average squad value of £607.01 million over the past three years. Roma, scoring 9.07/10, offers a rich mix of culture and football with 614 goals and a total market value of £492.62 million across its two clubs. Bergamo ranks fourth with a score of 8.91/10, 341 goals, and the most affordable tickets at £18 — making it a powerful yet accessible football destination.
Monaco stands out as the best city for Ligue 1 fans
Monaco is the crown jewel of Ligue 1, ranking fifth overall with a score of 8.86/10. Despite its small size, Monaco delivers a top-tier football experience with 343 goals in the past three seasons and an impressive average squad market value of £326.81 million over the past three years.
