Good for Skiers, Not for NI Soccer Fans

Northern Ireland’s largest airline easyJet has launched a new route from Belfast to Lyon. The service will operate weekly each Saturday throughout the winter until March 26, next year on an A319 aircraft.

However, with Northern Ireland due to play Ukraine in Lyon in June in the Euro soccer championships, the service, primarily aimed at winter sports enthusiasts and skiers, will not be operating when the international team play their second group game in the Euros.

Soccer Euros Just a Oui Ferry Journey Away

Supporters can travel Landbridge from Belfast or Dublin via Dover or Folkstone to France and what's more, they only need to pay a £100 deposit to secure their booking, which is great news in the run up to Christmas.
