Book Ferry Crossing Now to Beat the Winter Blues

Autumn has well and truly arrived and whilst the cool, crisp weather may make people want to stay indoors, Stena Line is encouraging everyone to book a short break or long weekend away in order to stave off the dreaded winter blues which are just around the corner.

The leading ferry company has extended its save up to 15 per cent offer for travel up to December 2018 when booked by October 31.

This great deal is valid on the Belfast to Cairnryan and Belfast to Liverpool routes and means that you can book now for an autumn break or plan ahead for your Christmas or New Year break as well as any long weekends or holidays you’re planning to take in 2018.

Orla Noonan, Travel Commercial Manager (Irish Sea North) at Stena Line, said:  “We’ll all be reaching for our winter coats and scarves soon but don’t let the chilly weather and dark evenings stop you from booking a fun trip away to explore a new city and spend time away with friends and family.

“Up to 15 per cent off ferry travel will allow passengers to make some great savings and if people plan ahead they can get deals for some key holiday times, including Christmas, mid-term break, Easter and even next year’s summer holidays! We would advise everyone to book quickly as we think this great offer will mean that spaces will fill up fast!” added Orla.

If you’re thinking of a trip to Liverpool over the coming months, why not visit the Southport Halloween Festival at The Atkinson Southport from October 21-29, the Liverpool Christmas Ice Festival at Pier Head from November 17 to January 7 or if you know a Harry Potter fan surprise them with tickets to Harry Potter Live in Concert at the Echo Arena on December 1.

Alternatively delight little ones with a visit to the Cheshire Reindeer Lodge which runs from November 25 to December 24 at Ellesmore Port Chester.  If you think a short trip across the Irish Sea to Scotland is more suited to you, why not try a ghoulish night out at the Hallowe'en Fright Night Party at Glasgow Science Centre on October 27 or sit back and enjoy a colourful night of fireworks at Glasgow Green Fireworks on bonfire night (November 5).

For something more festive, A Christmas Carol at the Kings Theatre in Glasgow from November 14-18 is sure to get you in a merry mood or the Glasgow Christmas Markets will be the perfect solution for any last minute Christmas shopping.

Get online and book now and save up to 15 per centwith Stena Line by visiting the Stena Line website and use the offer code HAPPY. Terms and conditions apply. The offer applies to Economy and Flexi motorist fares.
