Ten New High Spec Coaches for International Airport Service

Passengers using Translink's Airport Express 300 Services to Belfast International Airport are benefitting from a £2.3 million investment in 10 new high specification buses which are being phased in to replace all the existing vehicles operating on this route.

The new double deckers, which are supplied by Volvo and manufactured by local Ballymena based Company Wrightbus, have a modern and striking new-look livery to make it even easier for travellers to identify the service they need.

Cruise Line's 'Sale and Save' Casts Off

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is offering guests the chance to 'sail and save' with its new 'Summer Sale' campaign, which started yesterday, on a selection of 35 holidays, departing from June to December 2017.

The itineraries featured in Fred. Olsen's new 'Summer Sale' brochure are all offered on board its fleet of four smaller, more intimate ships - Balmoral, Braemar, Boudicca and Black Watch - and include all the firm favourites, from Spain and Portugal, to Norway and the Arctic, as well as the Caribbean and 'Around the UK & Ireland'‎, on a variety of durations.

Record April Passenger Figures Through Dublin

A record 2.5 million passengers travelled through Dublin Airport in April, a 12 per cent increase on the same period last year. The performance was boosted by the timing of Easter this year.

Passenger volumes to and from Continental Europe increased by 13 per cent with almost 1.3 million passengers travelling this route sector in April.

City of Derry Airport is flying high again after bmi regional launched its new double daily service between City of Derry (CoDA), and London Stansted.

Extra Flights to Toronto from Dublin This Summer

Due to demand, Canada's award-winning leisure airline, Air Transat, is extending its summer season with extra flights on routes to Toronto from Dublin.

For Dublin departures, this extension means one direct return service will continue running to Toronto until November 25, an additional month after the season was originally scheduled to end.

£5m Refit for All Seven Stena Line Ships

Stena Line has just completed the refit of all seven ships in its Irish Sea North ferry fleet with a total investment programme of £5m.

The work was carried out at the Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast over a four-month period, with the carefully synchronised dry dock visits being managed by Stena Line's Clyde-based sister company Northern Marine Ferries.

Low-Cost Carrier Puts Flights on Sale Until March 2018

Low-cost airline easyJet, Northern Ireland's largest carrier, has put flights from Belfast International Airport on sale up until March 24, 2018.

Almost 4,000 flights are set to take place to and from Belfast International Airport between February 5 and March 24, 2018 providing over 600,000 seats.
