Aer Lingus is launching a direct route to Seattle from Dublin next year.

It's the fifteenth route to North America operated by Aer Lingus, which is part of the IAG airline group that also includes British Airways, Iberia and Vueling.

Travel Unaffected by Loss of Confidence in Negotiations

A poll of more than 9,000 people released  has revealed that more than two thirds (68 per cent) of people in the UK have lost complete confidence in the all-important Brexit negotiations; with only nine per cent feeling that the talks are being handled well by the British government.

In fact, many have chosen to ignore the whole Brexit situation, with 95 per cent declaring that they will continue to travel to the EU as usual for their holiday.

Cruise Line Offers Limited Time Savings on UK-based Sailings

Princess Cruises is offering reduced fares on three UK-based sailings for bookings made between November 17 and 20, 2017.

The deals, which include group savings, are available on two voyages to Scandinavia and St. Petersburg and one cruise to the Canary Islands, all sailing in 2018.

UK Dogs and Cats Could be Banned from Europe - Threat

UK families will be barred from taking their pets to the continent if Brexit negotiations collapse, the EU's chief Brexit negotiator has suggested.

Michel Barnier has said that the collapse of trade talks is a "real possibility" and warned it could affect the ability of  family pets "dogs and cats to cross the Channel".

The much heralded ban on large cruise ships coming close to the centre of Venice is to be introduced within the next four years.

Larger ships, weighing 100,000 tonnes or more, will have to use the less glamorous industrial port of Marghera, which is a long way from Venice's famous Grand Canal.
