Airline's Belfast Summer Seats Top Three Million Mark

Low cost airline easyJet has added over 155,000 summer seats from Belfast to London, Malaga, Alicante, Faro, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Palma, Ibiza and Split taking the total number of easyJet seats available from Belfast over the summer (between March 26 and October 28) for the first time ever to over three million.

The airline continues to see strong growth at Belfast and now has an unrivalled network of 28 destinations including a new service to Dubrovnik which launches on May 14, 2017.

Making Sure You Know New Rules on Airline Security

ABTA says they are making it a priority to make sure incoming travellers into the UK are aware of the new rules governing security and what you can now take or not take on board an aircraft.

The Department for Transport has advised that passengers on inbound flights to the UK from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, and Saudi Arabia, will have to check any phones, laptops and tablets larger than a standard smartphone (specifically: Length: 16.0cm, Width: 9.3cm, Depth: 1.5cm) into checked baggage.

American Resumes Dublin Services to the US

From April 13, the world’s largest airline will resume seasonal services from Dublin Airport (DUB) to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), featuring a new Business Class cabin. The service, operated by a Boeing 757-200 aircraft will feature 16 fully lie-flat Business Class seats arranged in a two-by-two configuration, plus personal Samsung Galaxy tablets.

Business Class customers will also enjoy American's enhanced International premium cabin menus, designed in partnership with world renowned chefs Mark Sargeant and Maneet Chauhan.

Order French Car Emission Stickers in Plenty of Time

Drivers' organisation RAC is urging UK motorists to order recently-introduced French emissions stickers for their vehicle as soon as possible after it took six weeks for one to reach the UK recently.

The Crit'Air scheme, which was introduced in January by the French authorities to tackle pollution, requires all vehicles to display a windscreen sticker, or vignette, according to how much they pollute.
